We are honored to partner once again with the Audio Engineering Society to offer 10 All Access passes to attend the AES Show 2024 NY Convention!
Application Deadline: September 8, 2024 at 11:59 PM.
💡 Convention Dates: Tuesday, October 8 to Thursday, October 10.
💡 Location: Jacob Javits Center in New York City, NY.

Step into a world of audio innovation and inspiration at AES Show NY 2024, the flagship event of the Audio Engineering Society. This annual gathering unites over 10,000 audio professionals, enthusiasts, and exhibitors from around the globe. Whether you’re a seasoned expert, a novice, or a student, the AES Show provides a platform for collaboration, discovery, and learning.
Each scholarship will cover the All Access pass cost, but travel and accommodations are the responsibility of the recipient.
Each scholarship recipient will have the opportunity to connect with the We Are Moving The Needle community at AES and beyond, including our community of mentors.
💡 Scholarship Requirements:
We Are Moving The Needle is proud to offer 10 All Access passes for this year’s program.
We Are Moving The Needle scholarships are open to women, non-binary, and trans individuals with an emphasis on those with a demonstrated commitment to production and engineering.
Scholarship applicants will be reviewed for:
1) Experience and preparedness for AES SHOW 2024 NY,
2) Production proficiency and/or artistic vision,
3) Work ethic and demonstrated commitment to work in a field that would benefit from this opportunity,
4) Alignment with We Are Moving The Needle’s scholarship qualifications (stated above) and the WAMTN Community.
Applicants should aim to write between 250 and 500 words for each application question. We recommend applicants provide a variety of work samples demonstrating their experience in studio engineering, particularly projects produced or engineered for clients or collaborators.
