io music academy: claim your sound

Sponsored by Distrokid, We’ve partnered with IO Music Academy to offer 2 full scholarships to their “Claim Your Sound” 3-month advanced summer course! Break through creative blocks and conceptualize, refine, and finish a 3-song EP that showcases your unique voice as a producer. Apply by June 19, 2024.

LAAMP 24/25 Program

Continuing our collaboration with Los Angeles Academy for Artists & Music Production (LAAMP), We Are Moving The Needle is excited to offer 2 in-person and 2 virtual scholarships to the 2024/2025 program! This is a collaborative music program for artists, producers and songwriters in the field of contemporary popular music. Apply by June 30, 2024.

We Are Moving The Needle proud to continue our collaboration with Mix With The Masters to offer 2 full scholarships to David Wrench’s 4-day masterclass at Rue Boyer Studios in Paris, France. Each day will feature immersive workshops, listening sessions, and discussions hosted by David Wrench himself, where he will delve into his creative process, uncovering the tools and techniques behind the distinctive sounds of the albums he mixed. Apply by July 31, 2024.

We Are Moving The Needle’s MicroGrants series is specifically designed to be a flexible fund for rising seniors and recent college graduates that supports smooth transitions into the workforce. Grants will range from $500 to $1,000 to provide immediate assistance that can turn the impossible into the possible. Apply by August 25, 2024.

We are honored to partner once again with the Audio Engineering Society to offer 10 All Access passes to attend the AES Show 2024 NY! Step into a world of audio innovation and inspiration at AES Show NY 2024, the flagship event of the Audio Engineering Society. This annual gathering unites over 10,000 audio professionals, enthusiasts, and exhibitors from around the globe. Apply by September 8, 2024.
